Can you be refused dental care?

- Chosen by Voters I've dismissed patients from my practice before. A dentist may not refuse to work on patient when treatment, such as a crown, has been done. The dentist is obligated to see any patient where he/she has altered, irreversibly, a tooth, whether or not it gets paid for.As far as cleanings go, if you are dismissed, they should recommend or other resource to help you find a new dentist. (usually the local dental society).Contract or not, a dentist can fire you for missing appointments, or any number of reasons.Just get a new dentist 3 years ago 100% 1 Vote
