Would PhD students be entitled to free dental care on the NHS (UK)?
I'm not sure whether you qualify automatically, but you could phone 0845 850 1166 and ask them to send you a HC1 form. You fill this in with details of your income and what important expenses you have to pay such as rent, council tax etc. If you qualify for full help you will be sent an HC2 certificate (which lasts for 1 year) which entitles you to free prescriptions, free NHS dental care and more. If you don't qualify for full help you might be able to get reduced rates. If you're not sure, it's always worth applying, they can only say you qualify or don't.
