How often should I take my dog to the vet dentist? How important is dental care for dogs?

Dental care is very important for dogs, they can have a build up of tarter and other things, i take my dog at least once a year for a teeth cleaning. 6 years ago 2 people rated this as good Thanks for the input. I appreciate all of the answers from other pet owners.
